We are pleased to announce that Ms. Karen Duncan has being chosen Haynesfield’s 2023-2024 Teacher of the Year. Ms. Duncan has been teaching for 27 years, 17 of those at Haynesfield. She has taught kindergarten, first grade, fifth grade, and currently is the English language arts academic tutor for all grades.
Ms. Duncan is known for her creativity in the classroom, infectious laugh, and compassionate, caring nature towards all students and staff. She is very deserving of this recognition, and we are so proud of her accomplishments! Congratulations, Ms. Duncan!
